I just wanted to touch upon this important news. I will put my thoughts together in a day or so. However, I am almost sure that some pundits will qualify Sharia' with Taliban's Rule or some other form of extremism. It is this simple, as long as you are not breaking the civil law, two claimants can settle their affair with an arbitrator. The arbitrator can decide the case based on the Torah, Bible, or the Quran. I don't think people have forgotten "Church Discipline". Just try visiting your neighboring Catholic school...

The Archbishop of Canterbury gave an exclusive interview to BBC Radio 4's World at One reporter Christopher Landau on 7 February 2008.

It begins after the reporter asked him whether the adoption of Sharia law really was necessary for community cohesion.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has suggested that English law must accommodate some aspects of Islamic law, or shariah. Do you agree? Should U.S. law make room for shariah?
